The ACHSM Vic Health Management Internship Program

The Health Management Program (Victoria) offers committed, high-potential applicants the opportunity to develop the skills, capabilities and knowledge required to begin a career in managing the challenges and complexities of health service delivery across Victoria. Throughout the two years of the program, Management Interns are given the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of different workplace and educational opportunities.

Program eligibility

To be eligible for this program, applicants must:

  • Provide proof of Australian Citizenship, permanent Australian residency status or have permanent full work rights at the time of application.
  • Hold a relevant undergraduate qualification and/or postgraduate qualification. A minimum of three years' work experience is desirable.
  • Agree to undergo all required pre-employment health screening and checks, which includes but may not be limited to Working with Children Check, Aged Care Check, National Criminal Record Check, and Health Checks including COVID vaccinations required by placement organisations.
