A two-year talent development program designed to lift participants from potential to exceptional health managers and leaders.
In 2027, the ACHSM NSW Branch Council is excited to be transitioning to a new leadership program that will replace the Health Management Internship Program.
The Health Leadership Accelerator Program (HLAP) is a two year talent development program, designed to lift participants from potential to exceptional Health Managers and Leaders.
Delivered inline with the ACHSM Health Service Management Competency Framework, participants will develop their management and leadership competencies through a combination of face-to-face workshops, coaching sessions, facilitated learning groups, online learning and mentoring consultations.
Participants will be employed by a placement organisation and supported over two years to refine their health management capabilities and self-awareness to be the most effective manager and leader they can possibly become.
There are three entry pathways available to placement organisations who want to grow and develop their future health management capabilities:
·External recruitment to bring new talent into your organisation
·An internal pathway for early career health managers
·An internal pathway for mid career health managers
Please contact the program manager Leticia Whelan if you would like to learn more about becoming a Placement Organistion.
