About the program
The Health Management Internship Program (NSW) offers committed,
high-potential interns the opportunity to develop the skills,
capabilities and knowledge required to begin a career in managing the
challenges and complexities of health service delivery across NSW.

The application form requires you to indicate your geographical
preferences however not all areas may be taking Management Interns.
Please note: availability of Placement Organisations may change at the time of either the Skills Assessment or Interview.
A Skills Assessment is required for those who are successful in their Stage 1 written application form.
The assessment is made up of a two hour session comprising two
different tasks to assess your ability to critically think, problem
solve, work in teams, prioritise information, analyse data and present
The assessments will be held in Sydney and further details including
dates and venue will be confirmed at a later date. Panel members will
comprise representatives from Placement Organisations and ACHSM.
The final stage of the selection process is a face-to-face
Interview. Panel members will include a representative from the
placement organisation for which you are interviewing and ACHSM.
Candidates will be emailed regarding the offer outcome.
