Established as a result of the 2002 Bali bombings, the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre is strategically positioned in Darwin, Northern Territory to rapidly respond to sudden health emergencies across the Asia-Pacific. The NCCTRC provides clinical and academic leadership in trauma, critical care and disaster health care, building capacity and capability through strategic partnership, education training and research, establishing new clinical standards that drive excellence locally, nationally and internationally.
