Andrea Earl

Andrea is a 1st year Health Management intern placed with the Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (IHPA), an independent government agency. Her first rotation will be with the Mental Health Classifications team.

Andrea completed a Bachelor of Health Science, majoring in Health Promotion and Health Service Management in 2019. Her first experience of working in the health sector started at a cellular level where she worked in specimen reception for Douglas Hanly Moir Pathology. She then moved on to administration support at Nepean Hospital and undertook a support officer role for the Mental Health and Wellbeing Promotions Team at Western Sydney University, whilst also volunteering as a Crisis Support Worker at Lifeline.

Andrea applied for the program as she hopes it will further develop her skill set in leadership and health management, helping her to excel in a career that strives to improve the health of others through collaboration, innovation and engagement.

Outside of work Andrea enjoys good food and spending time with family and friends.

Tori Fuller

Tori is a 1st year Health Management Intern at Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JH&FMHN). During Tori’s first year of the internship program she will complete rotations through the Office of the Chief Executive, Communications performance and planning and the Aboriginal Strategy and Culture Unit.  

Prior to commencing the internship, Tori obtained a Bachelor of Health Science (Mental Health) at Charles Sturt University. Throughout Tori’s career she has worked crossed various community roles including the Adult Community Mental Health Case Management Team where she has found her impetus to broaden her skills and knowledge which lead her to apply for the Health Management Internship program (HMIP).

Tori recognises the unique opportunity to undertake the HMIP and to be able to learn from leaders and innovators within JH&FMHN to develop her management and leadership skills. ​

Jonathan Lagos

Jonathan is a 1st year intern with eHealth NSW and is working in the Office of the Chief Executive and Chief Information Officer. Jonathan graduated from Western Sydney University in 2017 and completed his Bachelors of Health Science, Majoring in Health Services Management. Since his graduation, Jonathan has worked across many different directorates across NSW health where he was able to expand on his knowledge base of the healthcare system.

Jonathan has a drive to work within the health care system and to be in a position to learn from people with a vast range of experience. Jonathan recognises the exceptional opportunity the HMIP provides and aims to gain the necessary skills to provide large scale and effective healthcare.

During his down time, Jonathan enjoys training and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Soccer and spending time with his family.

Chris Tu

Chris is a 1st year intern at Activity Based Management (ABM) as part of the Health System Support Group at the Ministry of Health. He will be working with different teams and his first rotation will be with the Stakeholder Engagement and Clinical Variation team.

Chris has always been interested in helping others help themselves, which started with completing a Bachelor of Pharmacy before studying a Master of Public Health while working as a pharmacist. Continually seeking to broaden his scope and knowledge of the health framework, he applied for the Health Management Internship Program (HMIP) where he saw an opportunity to develop his skills and grow his health management potential.

During his down time, Chris enjoys playing basketball, reading books and spending nights with his friends.
