Bellarine Community Health Ltd (BCH) is the major provider of primary care services on the Bellarine Peninsula.  Operating from five sites, BCH provides a comprehensive range of health services including: allied health; community nursing; dental services; child health and development, Home Care Packages and a co-located GP clinic at Point Lonsdale.  BCH is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified professional for this exceptional opportunity in one of Victoria’s highest growth areas.  This is a unique opportunity to combine an exceptional career challenge with a highly desirable coastal lifestyle with a variety of leisure and sporting activities for you and your family to enjoy. 

The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the executive leadership and operational management of BCH in accordance with Board of Management directions.  In this role, you will be expected to provide leadership in establishing and pursuing the vision and strategic direction of BCH.  You will actively establish and maintain relationships with health professionals, sustain positive relationships within the community, and work collaboratively with other agencies, services and key funding bodies.  A key focus will also be on maintaining and enhancing a positive workplace culture at BCH.

To meet the requirements of the role you will hold relevant tertiary qualifications, and be able to demonstrate sound strategic thinking, project management skills and success managing the delivery of a broad range of health programs (especially primary care and community services).   The Board is seeking exceptional candidates that can demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities, relationship development, engagement and communication skills especially in regard to the community, clinicians and other key stakeholders.
